Actor Suriya has just floated his own production house and has titled it as ‘2D Entertainment’.
Suriya’s family (his Uncle Gnanavel Raja) already owns the production house Studio Green which has been producing most of the films starring Suriya and Karthi in the lead in the past few years.
Studio Green is functioning almost as if it is owned entirely by Karthi as it has been associated with the all his recent and upcoming films . That not all of them turned out to be successful ventures at the box-office is an entirely different issue. Even All In All Azhaguraja, Karthi’s upcoming film, is being produced by Studio Green.
Apparently feeling to have a production house of his own, Suriya has floated ‘2D Entertainment’, naming the film banner after the two D’s in his life, Diya and Dev, his daughter and son.
Suriya is said to be planning to start off by producing low and medium budget movies for the time being. But Singam 2 would be his first co- production film
