Television actress-turned-film actress Sujibala is playing the lead role in the upcoming film Unmai which is being directed by Ravi Kumar. The actress was in the news last when she attempted to commit suicide after the marriage with the same director Ravi Kumar ,was called off at the last moment after the engagement. Leaving behind the personal front issue Sujibala continued with the Shoot of Unmai.
The film’s shoot has now been stalled, leading to Ravikumar lodging a formal complaint with the Nadigar Sangam, citing Sujibala’s non-cooperative attitude is delaying the project and in turn resulting in loss to the producer. At the same time Sujibala’s mother has filed a complaint against Director Ravi Kumar.
Ravikumar’s complaint is simple. “The crew had erected a set for Rs.5 lakhs in Hyderabad and it was scheduled to shoot some important sequence in the film. But the film shoot was cancelled as Sujibala mother refused to send Sujibala for the shoot, and demanded Rs 5 Lakhs in cash agaianst the agreement, and the actress mother did not let Sujibala to complete the shoot!” is Ravikumar’s complaint.
Sujibala’s mother, in her petition to the Sangam, stated “Ravikumar has ‘spoilt’ my daughter’s life in the name of fake love. Once the news of affair reached my ears, I have always ensured that Suji and Ravi Kumar didn’t get to meet each other. Ravi is now planning to bring Suji out so as to elope with her and get married to her. In this backdrop, how can they expect me to send my daughter to attend the shooting schedule of this director?”
It would be better and in the interest of all concerned if the Sangam takes an early decision on the issue!.
