Nayanthara and Arya, considered to be one of the best on-screen pairs in Tamil films at present. The pair, which came together for the first time in M. Rajesh’s Boss Engira Baskaran more than two years back, will be seen sharing screen space in a couple of films. One of them is Ajith’s upcoming untitled venture where Nayan is paired opposite Ajith while Arya is paired opposite Tapasee. The other is debutant Atlee Kumar’s Raja Rani.
While its claimed that two are in love, bith of them have opposed nor agreed to it directly in the public till now. During her recent interview, Nayanthara has answered in detail about her chemistry with Arya. “Usually, I don’t pay much attention to rumours. Not all that is written in the press can be true. A man and woman need not be in a relationship and yet can be good friends and go around.
“There is nothing except friendship between us. I feel comfortable being single and am in my own zone. As we’re friends we understand each other very well and feel comfortable in each other’s company. The word ‘love’ is nothing but a figment of some journalists’ imagination. As I said, we don’t need to be ‘dating’ friends to be close to each other.
“I want to remain single for some more time. Surely, at this point of time in my career, I’m not in a position to think about getting into another relationship. All I want is to continue to act in good films and earn name and fame. Arya is a very good friend of mine and I would love it to be like that. It’d be of great help if needless comments and criticisms are made about our relationship,” concludes Nayanthara.
